How can we manage stress and anxiety better?
Have you ever heard of “The Serenity Prayer”? It was written by the American theologian, Reinhold Niebuhr, and used in a sermon in 1943.
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.”
How might that help us today? How about we look at it this way.
Don’t try to change what you can’t change.
Don’t try to control what you can’t control.
Only try to change or control what you know you can – and leave it at that.
